Emma Jane Proctor and Dillon Garbrandt will join WYSA as Goalkeeping Instructors for the spring 2019 season, bringing with them a wealth of knowledge to share with developing players. Training will begin on January 22, 2019 with sessions being held weekly, as determined by age group and skill level. The schedule for training will be as follows:
Tuesday 6:00-6:45 : 8U-12U Boys & Girls
Wednesday 6:00-6:45 : 13U-18U Intermediate Boys & Girls
Wednesday 7:00-7:45 : 13U-18U Elite Boys & Girls
The club is pleased to provide this offering after much request from our membership to have this service for our players. Goalkeeper training is no additional cost to WYSA members and it is expected that all WYSA goalkeepers consistently attend these training sessions.
EJ Proctor is a native of Wilson and a product of Fike High School. During her club career, she played for teams at WYSA, PGSA, and CASL along with being involved with the US Women's National Team Youth Player Pool. She continued her career at Duke University as an All-ACC standout, making multiple appearances in the NCAA Women's College Cup before being selected by the Utah Royals of the National Women's Soccer League.
Dillon Garbrandt is a graduate and former player at Southwest Edgecombe High School and WYSA, coming through the ranks as a standout goalkeeper. He is currently a member of the Barton College soccer program.
Please welcome both EJ and Dillon as we are excited for both these coaches to add to the development of our players at WYSA.
